SALUD-CORONAVIRUS-F1-CEREMONIAS:La Fórmula Uno no tendrá ceremonia en el podio debido a la pandemia

LONDRES, 12 (Reuters) – Los pilotos de Fórmula Uno pueden olvidarse de las celebraciones en el podio esta temporada bajo las nuevas reglas de seguridad sanitaria por la pandemia de COVID-19.

El desfile de pilotos antes de las carreras también se eliminará, aunque no habrá aficionados en las tribunas, y no se entonarán himnos nacionales o entregarán trofeos por parte de las autoridades locales.

“Las prácticas que hemos tenido en el pasado simplemente no se pueden hacer”, dijo el viernes el director ejecutivo de la Fórmula Uno, Ross Brawn, en el sitio web www.formula1.com.

“El procedimiento del podio no puede suceder, pero estamos buscando hacer algo en la grilla después de la carrera. Una opción sería alinear los autos en la pista y que los pilotos se pararán frente a los autos”.

La retrasada temporada de F1 comenzará en Austria el 5 de julio a puerta cerrada.

La máxima categoría del automovilismo no ha publicado un calendario completo, pero el viernes dijo, al anunciar la cancelación de las carreras en Azerbaiyán, Singapur y Japón, que espera tener entre 15 a 18 carreras.
